Filing for bankruptcy can help you get a clean start. Creditors are barred from taking steps to collect their debts. Garnishments, levies, repossessions, civil suits and foreclosures are put on hold until the outcome of your case is decided.

Child Support

Under current Illinois law the amount of child support depends on the number of children or other dependents and is based on the payer's net income. If you think you are not receiving the proper child support amount or are entitled to a modification, contact us.

Estate Planning

If your estate is worth more than $100,000, a will alone will not be enough. In Illinois, estates more than $100,000 must go through probate court, which is a time-consuming and expensive process whereby the court oversees the distribution of your assets to your legatees or heirs.
You can avoid this by making a simple living trust. Save your legatees and heirs from hassles and expenses by helping us draft your will, living trust, or other necessary documents to simplify your assets and protect your loved ones.
If you are a landlord our attorneys will help you deal with tenants who do not pay rent or who violate the terms of their lease. If you are a tenant facing eviction or whose rights are being violated by your landlord, we can help you.

Probate

The probate process is a complicated one which requires an attorney to represent you.

Powers of Attorney for Health Care

The purpose of the Power of Attorney for Health Care is to provide the person you designate (your “agent”) broad powers to make your health care decisions. The Power of Attorney form does not impose a duty on your agent to exercise granted powers, but when the powers are exercised your agent will have to use due care to act for your benefit. The Illinois Power of Attorney for Health Care Act requires that the agent keeps a record of all receipts, disbursements and significant actions taken as an agent.

Powers of Attorney for Property

The power does not impose a duty on your agent to exercise granted powers. When the powers are exercised, your agent will have to use due care to act for your benefit and in accordance with your power of attorney form and keep a record of receipts, disbursements and significant actions taken as an agent.
